It's easy, but it might take a little practice. Did you ever look at MAGIC EYE pictures in a book or the newspaper? If you did, you are ahead of the game.
Viewing stereoscopic pictures without equipment is called Free Viewing. It is actually very good eye exercise which is sometimes prescribed by doctors.
Method One: Parallel Viewing (sometimes called "relaxed viewing")
It is called Parallel, because your eyes stay parallel and look straight ahead. This is the harder to learn of the two methods. It works just like Magic Eye. Move your eyes close to the two left pictures. Move your head slowly away, keeping your eyes straight. All of a sudden, a third image will appear in the middle and it will be in 3D.
Method Two: Cross-eyed Viewing.
Look at the two images on the right. Let your eyes cross so that your right eye looks at the image on the left, and your left eye looks at the image on the right. All of a sudden a thrid image will appear in the middle and it will be in 3D.
You may have to try for a little while to get this to work, but once you learn, you'll always be able to do it.
Have
fun!
