	PALEONTOLOGY /  DINOSAUR ART  1969	John Ostrom's initial 1969 paper on Deinonychus was followed shortly by his Deinonychus monograph. Robert Bakker's sketch of the running Deinonychus as the frontispiece of the latter. Extemely influential dinosaur life restoration changed the general perception of dinosaurs as "placid" animals to dinosaurs as "active/dynamic" animals.
