Nick figures out that Godzilla is just an "animal," and all animals get hungry. A trap is set with lots and lots and lots of fresh fish! The army dumps it on the ground in front of the Flatiron Building at 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue: Madison Square.

Pretty soon, the Flatiron Building will become the Flattened Iron Building (stupid joke (c) Dinosaur Interplanetary Gazette, so there!)
MEANWHILE
Nick's
old girlfriend Audrey (Maria Patillo), works for a nasty reporter
on a television station in New York. Years before, she left Nick
to pursue her career, but now she is stuck with no hope of advancing. How
does she fit in with all of this?
Phillipe
Roache(Jean Reno), an enigmatic insurance agent, leads an odd team of investigators
purportedly assessing the destruction left in the creature's wake. Roache's
true, if clandestine, mission is to spy on the U.S. efforts to stop the
beast. While the two teams have their own agendas, they find they must
join forces to unravel the mystery behind the incredible creature and stop
him before it is to late.
