    Before the Auction
    A dino fan brings his best dino model to meet Sue.  There was already a huge line outside of Sotheby's at 9 am on Saturday October 4, 1997. Most of the people were from the world press, but the rest were paleontologists, bidders and dino lovers who just had to be there! Entire families attended. They were all allowed inside at about 9:45am. One young man brought his favorite plastic dinosaur to meet Sue.

    Important TV Networks sent crews.    		 Bones still wrapped in aluminum foil and plaster were displayed.
    Most of the fossil bones are in plaster 
    or wrapped in aluminum foil.
