"Dinosaurs roamed the Earth for over 160 million years; the human race, as it appears today, is less than 150 thousand years old.
Reconstructing this past world is the shared role of the paleontologist and the artist. The paleontologist unearths and interprets the fossil evidence; the artist takes this information and creates the images that bring the world of dinosaurs to life. Sculptures, paintings, drawings and film are the graphic record of new discoveries, evolving scientific thought and changing social context.
