Sid & Marty Krofft's H.R. PuffnstufBelieve it or not, Puffnstuff is a dinosaur! Look at his tail! While we're not sure if we've ever heard of Puffnstuffasaurus rex, these shows sure were fun and very popular They are being re-syndicated on some cable stations (1997). One of these days, we will publish our interview with Marty Krofft who is a cool guy! and his daughter who is also cool!
Sid & Marty Krofft's Land Of The Lost, V, TV, Original Show had 30 minute episodes. Commercial tapes are approx 45 minutes, Worldvision Home Video, 1992 Various Episodes available listed in serial number order. Two episodes per tape. Most episodes have a stop-motion dinosaur of some sort. Wah Chang, a famous stop-motion animator, did many of the dinosaurs.

the kind of "dinosaur" or pre-historic animal that appears in each film.
Remember, many of these animals never really existed, or they are not really
accurate modern interpretations of the fossil evidence.

Fantasia
(1940), V, L, 117 minutes Walt Disney Pictures, Animation, The Rite of
Spring sequence.
There were two Laserdisc Editions of the
"original" Fantasia, a regular (CLV) and a Deluxe (CAV), both of which
are technically out of print, but sometimes available. It is somewhat easier
to rent the VHS tape. A short film which contains only The Rite of Spring
was released to schools under the title "A World is Born." Alhought
originally planned to be included in
Fantasia
2000 it was dropped at a final stage.
The
Ghost of Slumber Mountain, Willis O'Brien.stop-motion animation,
LSVideo
King
Kong (1933), 105 minutes (restored version), V, L, Criterion, Turner,
B&W, stop-motion animation by Willis O'Brien. The film was "censored"
several times and there are different versions available. The 105 minute
version has almost all of the known footage. Not ever, ever, ever to be
confused with King Kong 1976. Ever. Shame on you for even thinking of that.
