"You've probably seen posts around the Web by "Raptor" also. We are
one and the same. I'm single and 51 but "older than Godzilla" will be sufficient,
thank you! Blytheville, Arkansas, USA, has been my home for 25 years now.
In public service as a county deputy sheriff in the Mississippi Delta,
I really like the area and its people.
I've
been a G-fan since 1956 when I saw KING OF THE MONSTERS at the local movie
house. The setting and film may have been primitive by today's standards
but to a 9 year-old monster fan it was science-fiction heaven!
I
guess I was attracted to the kaiju genre by Godzilla not being a "one shot"
monster. He has come back many times in the last 40+ years with new and
exciting movies, stories and merchandise. Now we have the Internet, conventions,
popular fanzines and books to share our interest with other fans as never
before. Long live the King!
I
also enjoy keeping my website Kaiju-DIRECT! http://www2.arkansas.net/~gsraptor/godzilla.html
current while seeing what other fans have on the Web. I would love to have
the time to pursue model railroading and paleontology as these are
other interests I've acquired over a period of time.
TPlease VISITt our sponsors. They help make all of this possible.
