Now there's a good start! Right? So. Our Mission.
Our Mission.... (thinking....)
OK.
We think that there is nothing worse than b o r i ng science! Some people think that there is nothing worse than boring anything, but we are more specialized here at The Dinosaur Interplanetary Gazette.
So our mission is to let science be a little less boring than it usually is, and a little less dense and impenetrable. (How did that long word get here?)
And we think a good way to do that is to talk about dinosaurs.
Howcum?
We will do our very best to tell you the difference between imaginary things and things that have been verified. Fantasy is lots of fun, but so are facts! There is a place for both of them. Fantasy and facts go together like Mutt and Jeff, peanut butter and jelly, Sonny and Cher (well they broke up, didn't they), and Insides and Outsides. We just need to know the difference, and we'll get along fine in the world.
Science is a great way to learn how to look at things: to tell the difference between what somebody imagined and what somebody figured out is real. It is how we know EVERYTHING that we know about dinosaurs. Everything. Honest.
So check us out. And tell us if you think we are doing a good job or a bad job. OK? | e-mail | guestbook |
We'd love to imagine that we are doing it perfectly, but those darn facts have a way of creeping in. Hmmmmm. Never did figure out what point "six." Should be. We'll get back to you.
