  • [The variations may have to do with (A) projection speed -- anywhere from 18-21 frames per second  (B) the length of the actual intertitles which vary both in content and length between versions) -- and (C) slight variations in minor shots which are included (or not) in different versions. For example, the GEH version includes more shots of Zambo than the Shepard, but the Shepard includs more dinosaur shots.]

    (4) 50-63 minutes - Kodascope and most Video versions of the Kodascope prints USA: 

    Black and White with Tints.
    (most video versions do not have the tinting) There are variations in the tinting schemes between the MacQueen, Straatman and Shepard versions. The actual tinting scheme of the theatrical release is not known.
